Viewer
Open .drawio files without uploading them
Drop in a .drawio file and see the diagram. Compressed pages are unpacked on your device. Move boxes in the preview and the new positions are written back into the file text.
Open the draw.io viewer Free. No sign-up. Nothing is uploaded.
What you get
- Open.drawio and .xml files, including compressed pages, which are unpacked locally.
- Move boxesDrag a shape in the preview and its position is saved into the text. Undo takes it back.
- ExportSVG, PNG, standalone HTML and PDF, and the source file again.
- ConvertTurn a draw.io diagram into Graphviz DOT, and from there into Mermaid or PlantUML.
The preview is a simplified drawing of the common shapes and connectors, not a full draw.io renderer. Images, custom shape libraries and some connector routing are approximated, and the editor says when it does that. For full editing, open the file in draw.io.
How it stays private
Rendering and converting both run inside your browser. The page is not allowed to open connections to other servers, so your diagram text is not uploaded. Your work is kept in your browser's local storage only. Details are in the privacy policy.
